Sage of Six Paths is the first creater of Ninjutsu in Naruto manga series. He possessed Rinnegan eyes which has round concentric ripple-like in the eye. Rinnegan is said to be the most powerful jutsu among the other eye jutsu such as sharingan and Byakugan. It’s said that Rinnegan power can either save or destroy the world, From this point of view Pein is the only one who possessed this Rinnegan Power and is suspected that he is the descendent of sage of six paths.
Sage of six paths idea come from the believe of Buddhist called Six paths or six realms of existance, Some referred to as Six paths of Transmigration which consists of Heaven, Asura, Animal, Hell, Ghost and Human Realm.
